Bull is a drama series that initially aired in 2016 on CBS. The starring character, Michael Weatherly, acts as Dr. Jason Bull. The dramatic persona is inspired by Dr. Phil McGraw, who has founded successful trial consulting firms.

In Bull, Dr. Bull uses high-tech information, psychology, and human intuition to learn what makes attorneys, jurors, the accused, and the witnesses tick. The latest production is season 3 episode 9, which you can watch through cable, satellite TV, or a US streaming service. If you are not in the United States, we will show you how to watch Bull online using a Virtual Private Network.

Without a cable log or subscription, you would be missing the CBS network show. However, there are various ways to get around if you are outside the US. With a VPN (see our top picks below), you can use a streaming device and sign into the following live TV services.

Hulu with Live TV

Hulu with live TV provides a wide range of Netflix-like libraries. You’ll find a bundle of 50+ TV channels, including CBS. All you need to do is register with the service and watch a live stream of Bull on your device through the Hulu app or website.

If you are unable to keep up with Bull live, check a library of the available shows that have already aired on the extensive on-demand category of Hulu with Live TV.

CBS All Access

With a VPN, you can access a live stream of the CBS channel plus the rest of its on-demand library. Unlike Hulu, CBS All Access allows you to watch Bull through a digital platform instead of Amazon. See if you can use the free 7-day trial to watch the show via the CBS mobile app.

FuboTV offers a total of 85 channels. CBS is included in the Fubo bundle. Once you sign up for FuboTV, you’ll be watching a live stream of Bull on your smart device. The FuboTV app is available for download. If you forget to record an episode, check the 72-hour Lookback feature on FuboTV that enables you to view most of the shows 3 days after they have been broadcasted.

Amazon Prime

Do you have Amazon Prime? Then you have access to all CBS content including Bull. Whether you want to view it live or use the on-demand library, go to the CBS All-Access Amazon Channel. A 7-day free trial is available.

After signing up for Amazon Prime and the CBS channel, you can enjoy Bull episodes on your phone, PC, or tablet. You may find the Amazon Video app more convenient.

Geo-blocking explained

Broadcasting and licensing laws are the reason media corporations such as CBS block US expats from accessing their web content. Media production companies have contracts that specify where their online content can be viewed.

Money is the other reason streaming services curtail viewing. For example, Netflix has different charges for different countries.

In some countries, there are censorship laws that ban certain shows. This is especially true in countries like China and Russia. Similarly, a website can impose geo-blocking to protect itself from illegal content, e.g., viruses that could wreak havoc on their networks.

It can be annoying when you travel out of the US and are unable to watch Bull season 3. Geo-blocking measures detect a foreign IP address and stop you from accessing region-specific videos, live TV, or any other information.

The good news is that a VPN can trick the blocking software and make it appear as if you are browsing from the US. You will also be in a position to view other channels besides CBS.

How to watch Bull online using a VPN

Wondering how to watch Bull online with a Virtual Private Network? Here are the top VPN options that never disappoint.

1. NordVPN

Another high-end option for unblocking streaming services like CBS All Access and live sports events is NordVPN. Once you tap into a US server, you can also access Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, among other platforms.

You don’t need to be a techie to use NordVPN. Once you download and launch the software on your streaming device, NordVPN will assign you a USA IP which is all you need to unblock the CBS network and watch Bull. Do not forget to connect to NordVPN before you watch anything though!

2. IPVanish

IPVanish service logo

IPVanish is a fast VPN hence a great choice for streaming CBS. After signing up, locate a US server and connect. On your browser, visit the CBS website and use your credentials from the satellite subscription or cable. In case you haven’t subscribed to either, sign up for CBS All Access which charges a monthly fee.

IPVanish can also unblock Netflix, meaning that you will enjoy hundreds of US TV channels as well as live sports. We particularly love the VPN for its speed and reliability. There is even a Fire TV app you can use with a firestick.

What’s more, IPVanish facilitates up to 10 simultaneous device connections. If you wish, connect the VPN through a router to protect all your family devices in your network.

3. ExpressVPN

Here is a great option to unblock CBS All Access! ExpressVPN integrates a Smart DNS feature known as MediaStreamer, which protects you and at the same time bypasses most geo-blocking around the globe. The best part of MediaStreamer is that it supports an extensive array of streaming devices, including Smart TVs, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, Apple TV, Kodi boxes, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, among others.

The ExpressVPN app functions well on most operating systems and devices: routers, Android, Mac, iOS, Windows, and Linux. Currently, ExpressVPN is offering a discount plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. We have tried it ourselves and can assure you that the service works perfectly with CBS.

What is a good VPN for watching Bull online?

Watching Bull online is only as good as the VPN client you choose. Consider:

The speed of connection: have you ever watched an online video in 2-minute chunks because it’s taking too long to buffer and load? You can stop this from occurring by choosing a high-speed VPN like ExpressVPN.

The number of servers: with numerous servers, you can easily connect and start steaming the CBS TV in seconds. Plus, there’s less chance that you will be blocked from accessing the content.

Server location: It would be useless to purchase a VPN that doesn’t provide a US server.

Privacy policy: It is of utmost importance that you remain anonymous when accessing geo-blocked content. Check the encryption, confidentiality, and logging policies of VPN before subscribing.

Price: You might be tempted to get a free VPN, but it will not grant you access to most streaming services in the US. That doesn’t mean you need to break the bank to get a good VPN.

The reality of the matter is there are so many ineffective VPNs on the market today. What good is a VPN if it cannot help you watch CBS All Access? Even some popular providers don’t bypass censorship and geo-restrictions.

We have given you the best tools to unblock Bull season 3, and we hope that you’ll be pleased with one of our top picks.

  2. gillandgilbert

Huh, I’ve never heard of this show. It sounds really interesting! I’ll be sure to look it up. I’m glad to hear it’s on Hulu and Amazon Prime, because that’s the main way I watch content these days, but it’s good to know I have the option to see it elsewhere if I need to. I’ve got NordVPN and that makes it easy to watch pretty much anything!

I have been using ExpressVPN for so long! I can’t recommend it enough. It works great

I didn’t know BULL was based on Dr. Phil’s life. Did he do jury consulting? It looks like people have different ways to watch the show, even when geo-blocking is an issue. CBS All-Access is pretty cool and I see that more networks and cable stations are launching apps so you can watch their shows at your convenience. This is nice for people who don’t have DVR’s. Anyone have any preferences for VPN’s? I’m trying to figure out which service to get. I’m thinking in terms of privacy protection when I do online business.

This sounds like a fascinating show! I’ll have to look into the different services you listed that will let me stream it.
