Most of us spend hours browsing the web on a daily basis. Many of us are addicted to the best TV shows on Netflix as well. The streaming giant takes good care of us by offering brand new TV shows and fresh seasons of our favorite series every year. For all we know, binge-watching may have become a thing because of Netflix. And this year, there’s more content to binge-watch than ever.
With a whole galaxy of shows out there, which ones are actually worth your attention? In other words, what are the best TV shows on Netflix for 2019? That’s what we’re here to find out.
All in all, we tried to focus on the most popular, promising, and best TV shows on Netflix US for 2019. As you may know though, different regions have different catalogs. Undoubtedly, the Netflix US library is the most intriguing and abundant in the world.
Right now, we’ll share the Top 10 TV shows, but our list is quite relative and open to discussion. We’ll come back and update it from time to time to uncover more binge-friendly goodies: new TV shows, new seasons, and release dates.
How to watch the best TV shows on Netflix US from anywhere in the world
Millions of internet users already know the cure – the solution for how to watch the best TV shows on Netflix US from anywhere in the world. But do you?
The problem with Netflix is that it has introduced regional exclusivity for its shows due to copyright laws and deals. In plain English, this means that you may not be able to watch the same TV shows and movies in other parts of the world.
No wonder why 30% of VPN (Virtual Private Network) users try to avoid the rigorous Netflix proxy and VPN detection. With a reliable premium VPN service, you should be able to stream your favorite shows from Netflix US in HD or even 4K (UHD) quality. But it’s also possible that you get lucky and access Netflix UK, CA, JP, or AU.
How a VPN can bypass Netflix geo-blocking
While more and more VPNs fall out of the race for Netflix streaming, some market leaders make sure you can consistently access this platform. It’s clearly not enough to spoof your IP address to appear to be in the US. Netflix can see through your internet traffic and realize you’re using a VPN.
The successful geo-unblocker VPNs use different approaches to fool Netflix detection. They may change their IPs from time to time, install new servers, and figure out a way to stay undetected. One thing’s for sure though: once Netflix red-flags an IP address, they’ll block it too.
For the time being, our number one recommendation for the best VPN for Netflix is NordVPN. This VPN service has all the best online security and privacy features combined with a strict no logs policy. If you want to watch the best TV shows in 2019, NordVPN could be a good choice since it can access more than just Netflix US. This VPN, as well as other top-notch providers, can stream Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and BBC iPlayer, which all have strict geo-blocks.
If you want consistent access to the best TV shows on Netflix in 2019, you’d better choose a service from our best VPN for Netflix list.
10 best TV shows on Netflix for 2019
Of course, “Best TV shows” don’t necessarily and exclusively mean new or upcoming TV shows in 2019. It’s possible that a show was released back in 2018 and is still going strong in 2019. You may also find series in our Best TV shows on Netflix list that have come out or will come out with a new season.
Whether it’s the best sci-fi TV shows, the best comedies, or the best thrillers you’re after, our 10 Best TV Shows list will give you plenty to binge-watch. We used the IMDb ratings as the base for our ranking, which should also reflect popularity.
Nevertheless, we don’t claim there are no other great shows that could show up on this list later.
