You’re mistaking servers for server locations – only 5 countries have multiple server locations, but many have significantly more than just 1 server. Take France for example: if you click the three-dot button next to France on the sidebar, you can expand a drop-down menu to choose the specific server (currently, there are 222 of them).
NordVPN has some great deals right now, including the 3 year deal which I got with a nordvpn coupon code. It’s crazy to think that you can pay $3 for such a great service, comparable to any other VPN out there, and those may charge 3-4 times more.
It’s a great deal for sure, but, and this is a big one for me, you have to be ok with staying with the same VPN provider for 3 years. The 3 year Nordvpn deal might be a great option price wise, but no everyone is ok with the long period. I prefer a 1 year plan or maybe even 2 years but not more. And for a 2 year plan, Surfshark might be a better option (just price wise as Nord is better overall).

Yeah, the NordVPN lifetime deal is history now, unfortunately. They did this when they weren’t as know as they are today and whomever was lucky to get in is set for a long, long time. Right now, the 3 year nordvpn deal is one of the best on the market so get that. Otherwise just go with Surfshark for 2+ years, like Ottoland mentioned above. Surfshark is not a complete as Nord and they don’t have as many servers, but it still does a great job, especially since they’re so inexpensive.

I did some research and also looked at a nordvpn vs expressvpn comparison to see which VPN is better. I now realize that, at least in my opinion, there isn’t just one VPN that is above the others. It all depends on what your needs are and the budget you have. For example, if you are serious about a VPN, then you should take the 3 year Nordvpn deal and pay less than $3 monthly! I agree with what you said. NordVPN, ExpressVPN and Surfshark are among the best out there. Express is the more expensive and probably a bit better, NordVPN is a close second and Surfshark is not as good but still very good and it has the lowest price of the 3.
