For our Anonymizer VPN review, we found that the service had offered well-received and reputable security for consumer VPN enthusiasts for a whopping 24 years. The company was founded by Lance Cotrell in 1995.

They have provided a well-received consumer VPN service for those long 24 years, with lots of good things that some customers had to say about their service. Interestingly enough, in 2018, Anonymizer decided to switch gears and provide their expertise to their parent company Ntrepid in order to expand into business-oriented privacy services.

Fortunately, however, Anonymizer still provides enterprise attribution management for businesses looking to keep their browsing activity and market research a secret. If you’re still in the market for a large scale privacy and anonymity solution, there’s a chance that this change might actually work out in your favor.

Although there isn’t a whole lot of information about the service out there for us to include in our Anonymizer VPN review, we’ll do our best to provide you with an idea of what you’ll be getting if you go with Anonymizer’s B2B VPN solutions.

Is Anonymizer VPN safe to use?

While not officially part of the Ntrepid network, the Invincibull VPN is an effective and well-known consumer VPN that should fill in any blanks left by Anonymizer’s absence.
• Ion. This is a web-scraping service designed to facilitate anonymous and efficient data mining over the internet. There’s a myriad of reasons why an enterprise might want to mine data from other websites or competitors, and Ion lets you do just that. It’s designed to minimize anti-harvesting protocols and anonymize your data collection so that you can get all the information you need without any of the hassle.
• Nfusion. Nfusion is Ntrepids misattributed desktop service. This acts as a virtual desktop, disassociating any apps and connections you run in order to anonymize and privatize your activity. This allows workplaces dealing with sensitive data or connections to conduct their business without worrying about being compromised by competitors or other hostile agents.
• Passages. This is a specialized virtual browser designed to anonymize and privatize your internet browsing. The service is very similar to how the Nfusion misattributed desktop works, but it is designed specifically for browsing activity.
• Timestream. This is a service designed to create timelines based on data provided by your company. This allows your company to analyze and act on information that evolves over time. While this isn’t a specifically privacy-oriented solution, it still provides a necessary service for the types of enterprises that Ntrepid provides services for.

As you can see, the company is still able to provide extensive privacy services for enterprise-scale projects where privacy and anonymity are necessary.

This is a good thing for our Anonymizer VPN review, as it means that there’s still a good service available through this company for providing the privacy and anonymity that enterprise-scale companies will need.

When we started off writing this Anonymizer VPN review, we were providing information on a consumer VPN that had served loyal customers effectively for 24 years. Although the company has shifted gears toward B2B solutions, this isn’t the end of the story for Anonymizer VPN.
