South Park is one of the most popular and controversial adult animated comedies of all time. First aired in 1997, the show now features close to 300 episodes across 22 seasons, with more seasons set to air in the years to come. South Park is all about four boys named Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny and their lives in the little Colorado mountain town of South Park.

The show often parodies popular culture, celebrities, events in the news, politics, and more, and is well-known for its strong language, sexual references, and extreme humor. Because of all the controversy generated over the years, South Park has actually been outright banned in certain countries.

For that and other reasons (such as geo-blocking), watching the show outside the US may be difficult. But don’t worry, we have a solution for you – Virtual Private Networks.

Watching South Park online

There are a couple of major ways people watch South Park online. The show airs on the Comedy Central TV network, so you can use the Comedy Central site to watch past episodes. However, Comedy Central is only available for viewers in the United States. If you’re somewhere else, you won’t be able to access it without using a VPN.

Another option is the South Park Studios site. This is a site dedicated entirely to South Park, featuring clips and whole episodes to watch for free. The site also features news, a detailed wiki about the show, South Park games, and more. Again, however, access to this site is reserved for US-based viewers and internet users, so those trying to watch South Park online from the UK, Australia, Canada, and other countries can struggle.

Sites and services like South Park Studios and Comedy Central make use of geo-blocking to prevent non-US-based viewers from accessing their content. This basically means that the site is able to detect where you’re trying to watch from, and if it sees that you’re outside of the US, it will restrict your access. The only real way to get around geo-blocking is by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Why don’t you just torrent all the seasons and watch them? It’s free and the quality of there. Why would I pay for Comedy Central or another platform?

You can torrent anything nowadays but should you? And if not, why shouldn’t you? Let’s analyze this a bit.

        1. If you do decide to torrent something you shouldn’t do it without a paid VPN. NEVER. So it’s not free to torrent something. If you’re doing it that way you’re just asking for trouble.

        2. While I understand that most people torrent because they can’t afford a game or a movie, as soon as you can afford, stop doing it. I used to torrent when I was a kid and couldn’t afford games. Now I can and if I torrent a game it’s because I want to test it. As soon as I realize I like it, I will go and buy it. Why? Because I want to show my support for those people that put time, effort and tears into that game. I want to encourage them to create more.

If you really love something like a show, movie, game, make sure you support the developers/creators.
