With the launch of Disney+, Disney has given us the ability to watch all of our favorite Disney animated movies without much hassle. Disney has made 58 animated movies, including the top 3 classic animated movies, namely The Lion King (1994), Beauty and the Beast (1991) and WALL–E (2008).

Disney Plus has more than 300 films in its library. Currently, it is only available to users in the United States, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, and New Zealand. If you’re not in these countries, you can still watch the best Disney animated movies from Disney Plus using a solid VPN service like NordVPN. Here’s how.

There are two subscription choices available for Disney+. You can choose to pay $6.99 per month or buy the subscription for the whole year, which costs $69.99 (about $5.83/month).

Moreover, there is a Disney+ bundle offer for $12.99 per month which includes Disney Plus, ESPN Plus and Hulu (with ads). With the bundle offer, you can save around $5 per month compared to signing up individually for each service.

Watch animated Disney movies with a VPN

Many fans of Disney animated movies are disappointed because Disney Plus is currently only available in a few regions. If you live outside of these, you should consider using a VPN to solve the geo-blocking problem and stream all the best Disney+ animated movies.

Geo-blocking stops users from accessing an online service like Disney+ if it is not available in their country. One of the main reasons for geo-blocking is country-specific copyright agreements. For example, Warner Bros has permitted Netflix US to broadcast a film that they own the rights to. But if you try to watch that film using an Indian IP, you will not find it on Netflix as only Netflix US is allowed to broadcast the film.

With Disney+, it’s more a matter of the service not launching until the coming spring (and even then there will be blind spots).

By having a VPN, you’ll be able to connect through remote servers in countries where Disney+ is available. Your original IP address will then be hidden and only the IP of your chosen server will be seen. This will allow you to watch the best animated Disney movies without any problem.

Moving on, various VPNs have various qualities at different prices. The most important factors that you need to look for in a VPN to access Disney Plus from your region are the speed, security, and the number of servers available. Here are the best VPNs for Disney+.

Three of the top VPN applications that would let you stream the best Disney animated movies on Disney+ are ExpressVPN, NordVPN and CyberGhost.

1. NordVPN

NordVPN can easily unlock all the movies and TV series that are geo-blocked by Disney+.

It allows its users to use a remote IP address from one of the 5,300+ servers located in 59 countries. NordVPN also has a Smart DNS feature – SmartPlay. Using it, you can stream without any connection slowdown.

NordVPN is perfect for streaming your favorite animated movies on Disney Plus and it also has the kill switch feature which will keep your IP address a secret during and even after use.

2. CyberGhost

CyberGhost service logo

Minimum price per month: $2.25

CyberGhost is the cheapest VPN service on this list.

Even though it is cheaper than NordVPN and ExpressVPN, it has almost the same features that the two offer. It can successfully unlock geo-blocked content and enable you to access Disney+ content.

It does not have the Smart DNS feature but its ease of use and low price makes up for it. CyberGhost is a wise choice if you are just looking for a VPN for Disney Plus only.

3. ExpressVPN

Minimum price per month: $8.32

ExpressVPN will provide you with a fast-paced VPN service which will allow you to watch your favorite content on Disney Plus without any buffering.

You will be able to enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows thanks to the SmartDNS tool (MediaStreamer), which helps unlock geo-blocked content. Also, it does not store or track user activities to make sure that your information is safe. It has a kill switch feature which will help keep your original IP address hidden under all conditions.

You can use ExpressVPN on a wide variety of devices such as your mobile devices and computers. It runs on IOS, Android and Windows. You can use it on 3 different devices simultaneously.
