Use NordVPN to download Korean torrents safely

First and foremost, downloading copyrighted content is illegal, and doing so without a proxy or a VPN is highly not recommended. What’s more, there are countries where torrenting is illegal as well, no matter what content you’re downloading. These two reasons should be more than enough for you to consider getting some serious online protection.

VPNs are great tools that secure your whole connection by hiding the IP address and encrypting all traffic. However, some of them don’t allow torrenting or are simply not good for that because of low server count or other reasons. That’s why we recommend you to see this NordVPN review, it is our #1 service, from here.

This provider is arguably the safest and fastest VPN of them all. It has thousands of servers in 59 countries and many of them allow P2P. What’s more, NordVPN provides very fast downloading speeds that will help you download Korean torrents in no time.

Best Korean torrent sites that still work in 2020

Gone are the days when you could just search TorrentKim for any movie or show. But we’re here to help you out! Below is the list of top Korean torrent sites in 2020.

1. Dramafire.info

dramafire

DramaFire is a site you can use to download Korean dramas, Korean variety shows, and more.
What we like about this site is that they release new episodes weekly as they come out. Thus, you don’t have to wait until the whole season is complete to start watching.

Many of the titles had English subtitles. We also liked that apart from the ads, the website design is clean and easy to navigate.

2. Tcafe

Tcafe is one of the largest torrenting sites in Korea. As with any torrent site, it’s best to use Tcafe together with a secure VPN service, such as NordVPN.

tcafe

This one requires you to register with the site. Luckily, however, it is free to sign up. Once you sign up, you will have thousands of Korean entertainment at your fingertips.

Visually, the site is a bit cluttered. The images and texts are too close together, which makes it harder to read.

The variety, however, makes up for these shortcomings.

3. TorrentRG

TorrentRG is another Korean torrenting site that has a large following, but this one does not require any registration.

torrentrg

We found everything from movies, to soap operas to educational programs to Korean games here. While basic, the design is straightforward. We had trouble searching for Korean titles and downloading them.

Plus, the downloads were of high quality.

4. DramaGo

While DramaGo isn’t really a torrenting site (instead it’s a streaming site), it does focus expertly on Korean drama movies and Korean drama TV series.

dramago

We loved how easy this site was to use. They split the streams up into categories, such as Action, Adventure, Horror, etc. This made it easier to search for titles. They also have everything organized alphabetically.

Overall, we found this to be the easiest site to navigate.

Summary of the best Korean torrent sites

We actually enjoyed using all four of the sites. Tcafe was our least favorite. The design was the least appealing, plus you had to sign up to use it.

DramaGo was our favorite because we liked how easy it was to search for torrents.

DramaGo is our favorite site for finding amazing Korean torrents.

Keep in mind that there is a risk involved in torrenting because of piracy and copyright laws. To keep your torrenting activity private, you need a reliable VPN service, such as NordVPN. You can also check out our list of the best VPN services for torrenting and choose from there.

Hi, thanks for pointing that out. We’ve updated the article now with that info. In fact, it isn’t a strict torrenting site, but a streaming site. Nonetheless, it does offer some of the best Korean drama movies and Korean TV series out there.

  2. Miklas

I am looking for a good torrentkim alternative. Too bad that site got taken down because I remember it was quite nice. Now I have to find one or more korean drama torrenting sites with eng subtitles. Your list of korean movie torrenting sites is helpful and seeing as you said DramaGo is the best I guess I should start with that, no? Thanks for the list, Jan.

  3. Ha Joon

Does anyone else miss TorrentKim a lot? I sure do. I had gotten used to it’s way of doing things and I can’t find anything like it right now. Have been using both TorrentRG and DramaGo and while they are nice, nothing compares to TK.

OMG same! I used to use that to get my Kdramas and now it’s gone. D: DramaGo is my go-to right now, and you can find a few on PirateBay, but it makes me so sad that you can’t get them all! I’ve tried unlocking with VPNs, and that works sometime, but it’s still not the same!

  4. Cecilia Kirk

My daughter is a huge fan of Korean dramas, I’ll give her the link to this article. I’m sure she’ll be very glad. Most of them are not vailable in Hulu or Netflix.

  5. Nathan Jones

My Korean friends were phenomenal. I had a great summer vacation in Seoul. Above all, my holidays were memorable because they inspired me to see a couple of great Korean movies and I am ready to download some of my favorite. All thanks to Korean torrent sites

  6. Tessa

Oh, man, I’m so glad I found this! I’ve been learning Korean for a year, but I was struggling to get my K-dramas on regular streaming sites. This will be such a big help.
